About Our Notarial Services

Signature Station Signing Services provides professional, appointment-based remote online notarization services. We believe in transparency and want you to feel informed and comfortable before booking your session.

Notarial Fees

Remote online notarization services are offered at $25 per notarized document, as permitted under Rhode Island law.

Payment is collected securely online prior to your scheduled appointment to reserve your session time.

Notarial fees are earned only when a notarization is successfully completed.

Cancellations & No-Shows

• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are eligible for a full refund.
   
• If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if the client does not appear for the appointment, notarial fees for notarizations that were not performed will be refunded, less any non-notarial costs that may have already been incurred.
   

Technology & Identity Verification Costs

Remote online notarization requires the use of secure third-party technology and identity verification services to protect all parties involved.

In some cases, non-notarial costs related to technology access or identity verification may be incurred when a session is reserved or initiated. These costs are separate from notarial fees and may be non-refundable once incurred, even if a notarization is not completed.

If no such costs are incurred, a full refund will be issued.

Incomplete or Unsuccessful Sessions

Occasionally, a notarization cannot be completed due to factors such as:

• difficulty verifying identity,
   
• documents that are not eligible for remote notarization,
   
• incomplete or incorrect documents,
   
• or technical issues on the signer’s end.
   

In these situations, notarial fees for notarizations that were not performed will be refunded, less any non-notarial costs that may have already been incurred.

If a session cannot be completed due to a technical issue or error on our end, a full refund or a rescheduled session will be provided.

Scope of Services

Signature Station Signing Services provides remote online notarization services in accordance with the laws of the State of Rhode Island. Our role is limited to verifying identity, administering oaths or affirmations when required, and notarizing signatures on documents that are eligible for remote online notarization.

We do not prepare documents, select or draft notarial certificates, determine the legal sufficiency of documents, or provide advice regarding the legal meaning or effect of any document.

Client Responsibilities

To help ensure a smooth session, clients are responsible for:

• ensuring all documents are complete, accurate, and ready for notarization,
   
• confirming that documents are eligible for remote online notarization,
   
• selecting the appropriate notarial certificate when required,
   
• providing valid, unexpired government-issued identification,
   
• meeting the technical requirements necessary to complete a remote online notarization session.
   

If these requirements are not met, the notarization may not be able to proceed.
